After a 27.5 year career with Wichita Public Schools, I am uniquely qualified to serve on the Board of Education for USD #259.  I retired in August 2015 as Division Director of Facilities and I now I want to give back to the community by serving as the BOE member representing District #2. I believe in the importance of public education. I was a product of the Wichita Public School system as were my husband and both of our grown daughters. We now have two grand-daughters in the Wichita Public School system that attend Price-Harris Magnet.
